Wings Of A Nightingale

AN ANGEL, SHE IS

We see her everyday,

Surrounded by her kids.

She carries books and note pads,

On her face, a gentle smile she wears.

Her caring heart and soothing voice,

A precious gift, much dearer than gold.

Warriors carry a sword and a shield to protect,

The only weapon she had was her very self,

On that tragic day, a sacrifice she made,

Her body as a shield, as she took on the bullets.

She bore the pain until her last breath,

So that her little children may live.

That’s how Angels are…to love and protect,

Now we know, she’s an Angel on earth.

Habang papalapit ako sa Kanya
Madilim kong mundo, nababanaag ang pag-asa.
Ilaw at gabay sa daan ng buhay,
Siya ang kasama ko at kaagapay.
May dahilan kung bakit tayo dumadaan,
Mga pagsubok sa buhay kung minsan ‘di makayanan.
Isang libo’t isang karanasan gawing panuntunan,
Ipabahala sa Kanya, ‘di tayo pababayaan.
Itaas ang kamay, ang Puso ay buksan,
Huwag matakot at mag-alinlangan.
Siya ang nag-iisa at tunay na kaibigan,
Kumapit lang sa Kanya,

A kiss-
Spontaneous as it is, yet seems forever,
From that moment on I shall remember!
